Mutlimedia assets and tools created in collaboration with local staff of Believerr Worldwide, based in Lagos, Nigeria. Believerr Worldwide is a “creative collective whose members come together to organize projects in less privileged communities to assist in their social and intellectual development. We understand people face a multitude of obstacles preventing them from reaching their full potential and achieving what they want to achieve. Our mission is to strengthen the level of belief one possesses so as to overcome any situation they find themselves with utmost faith. This will yield positive results contributing to the betterment of their lives and their immediate environment.”

The objective of this program was to promote democratic participation, free and fair elections, and counter voter intimidation; the latter being common at local Nigerian polling units. We were able to successfully provide support to local voters by offering vocal reassurance and refreshment, while paying close attention to maintaining neutrality. This is much needed in an environment plagued by voter intimidation and vote buying. View the mini-documentary below.
